Nature Team University of Moratuwa is the official organization for nature studies and environmental issues at university of Moratuwa since the formation in 2004. We are functioning for the 20th successful year now.Started as a forum of a group of environmentally enthusiastic young university students. The society evolved its years to deal with the environmental studies and environmental issues in the university.

රටේ තිබුනු තත්වය නිසා අවසන් වතාවෙ Nature team එකේ අපිට අවාරෙ සිරිපා යන්න උනේ නෑ. ඉතින් මේ පාර අපි ලැබුනු අභියෝග මධ්‍යයේ කොහොමහරි "අවාරේ සිරිපා" ගමන සංවිධානය කරන්න සමත්වුනා.අපේ දවස උනේ ඔක්තෝබර් 29.

Cinnamon Rainforest Restoration Project

The "Cinnamon Rainforest Restoration Project”, which is being carried out in collaboration with Ruk Rakaganno (The Tree Society of Sri Lanka), the Forest Department of Sri Lanka, and the John Keels Foundation, aims to restore a deteriorated 50-acre plot over a three-year period, after which nature will take over the regeneration process.
